Abstract
At the new stage of
development in the field of hydropower,
as in other areas, rapid and significant
changes and updates are occurring. This
directly impacts the lexicology of the Uzbek
language. The wide adoption of modern
technologies and foreign experience in the
sector enriches and updates the content of
hydropower terms, highlighting the need
for research in this area. In this sense, this
article covers the specific features and
sociolinguistic aspects of terms related to
the field of hydropower.
