Abstract

Operating hydroelectric power
plants during peak load hours is an important
aspect of energy consumption management
and power transmission. Hydroelectric power
plants have excellent start-up and shut-down
characteristics, allowing them to respond quickly
to sudden changes in electricity demand. During
peak load periods, when electricity consumption
reaches its maximum, hydroelectric power plants
are able to provide the necessary generation
volume, contributing to the stabilization of the
energy system.
