NATIONAL INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE LOWER CHATKAL HPP

Abstract

The article details the scientifc
and technical features of the “Investment
Project for the Construction of the Lower Chatkal
Hydroelectric Power Plant on the Lower Chatkal
River”, implemented by JSC Uzbekhydroenergo,
its place and signifcance in modern Uzbekistan›s
hydropower sector, the national innovative
approach to this project, and issues of localization
in construction material production processes. In
particular, the article presents the geological and
hydrological aspects of the Lower Chatkal River,
new national technological processes for research
and production of materials for the flushing gallery
being constructed at the site, as well as an analysis
of conclusions and results
